Job Purpose: At an enterprise level, the Director of eCommerce Customer Optimization is responsible for overall planning, execution and customer experience, focused on driving transactional interaction and customer engagement. As our eCommerce presence continues to grow, the role will take new ideas and rising industry trends and execute into transformational customer experiences while hitting revenue targets. To be successful, the candidate must have prior eCommerce experience. Deluxe Corporation is going through a transformation and therefore, this role must be an active agent for change while demonstrating how to drive results via a matrixed organization. The candidate must have demonstrated experience managing business initiatives from conception to implementation to delivery while generating quantifiable results. Responsibilities:
Lead the end to end integrated customer experience's bridging the on line interaction between our suite of products.
Direct a team that includes customer experience, on-line campaign management, on-line merchandising and content; optimizing site performance and deliver on-line revenue targets.
Understand and incorporate data from web analytics group to drive test plans and identify opportunities.
Define and gather requirements for all on-line marketing driven initiatives.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, project prioritization, make tradeoffs, balance the work collaboratively across groups to secure buy-in and drive issues to resolution
Act as an agent to drive cross-functional buy-in and organizational change management while building strong relationships across all business functions, and with the IT organization
Identify and implement change initiatives that improve workflow and productivity.
Benchmark other multi-channel retailers and provide recommendations for new capabilities
Define/refine reporting requirements for new and existing capabilities including testing
Develop initial business cases to support concept definition for an initial online test
Define actual business models to support concept definition and expansion beyond an initial test
Contribute to and implement overall corporate business strategies
Required
BA/BS Degree, MBA a plus
Strong communication skills
Innate attention to detail
Analytic aptitude
Quickly form partnerships with internal business partners
Five or more years eCommerce experience, within a fast paced, data centric, analytically driven environment dealing with multiple assignments concurrently.
Presentation skills across multiple audiences including senior management.
Experience with ATG eCommerce, Omniture analytics, and rich media applications, such as Adobe/Flex, preferred but not required
Pre-Employment Screening Drug screen and background check required. EOE/M/F/D/V.
